Gobind positive about planned Telenor, Axiata merger
The hype surrounding the highly anticipated merger plan between Malaysia’s Axiata Group Bhd and Norway’s Telenor Group seems to have lost traction since the plan was first announced in May, due in fact to the Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo’s statement that the potential partnership is still very much at the proposal stage.

BT expands its cybersecurity capabilities in Europe

Vodafone network outage affects several countries in Europe & Asia
Vodafone’s network was down across Europe on Thursday with thousands of customers unable to use the internet or make phone calls. Issues began at around 14:42 BST according to network monitor Down detector. Customers all over the UK reported issues and so did customers in Spain, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Greece and Portugal.
